See You Later, NYC

I refuse to say goodbye. Goodbye sounds so final, like we'll never see each other again. So instead I've been saying, "See you later" to friends and to New York City itself. After all, our stuff is stored in Staten Island, so sooner or later we have to come back.

I love New York City, and it wasn't easy to leave. I'll miss baseball games at Yankee Stadium, kati rolls at Indian food carts, ice cream trucks on every corner during the summer, never having to drive, Ethiopian food in the East Village, Feldman's rooftop parties, lemon cupcakes from Buttercup Bake Shop, autumn leaves in Central Park, Christmas decorations on every corner, the first snow of the season, the first flowers peeking through in the spring, international newspapers at every newsstand, brunches at Cafe Orlin, and so much more.

More than anything, I will miss the amazing friends I made during my four years here. Before this post gets too sappy, I'm going to stop at this: See you later, New York.

It was great seeing you in NYC! We just spoke with Jared and he told us about this travel blog. It will be a great way for us to keep in touch with your travels. Maybe we'll also do one for our next set of travels. Your writing is great, and we look forward to reading more as your travels progress. We hope you have a wonderful family visit in Florida, and then an absolutely fantastic adventure around the world.

This website is fantastic. It allows us to share your excitement, explore new worlds and most importantly, keep track of two people that are very special to us.

Remember we love you both.
